Veterans with Disabilities' (EBV) mission to provide
training in entrepreneurship and small business
management to post-9/11 veterans with disabilities
resulting from military service.
PepsiCo has helped many veterans receive valuable training in entrepreneurship and small business management so they can build their own business and pursue their dreams.
PepsiCo is the first 3-Star Partner of the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, the highest level of partnership. IVMF operates EBV.
PepsiCo has donated $2 million to EBV since 2010.
More than 120 million bottles and cans have been collected via PepsiCo Recycling in support of EBV.
Following her field hospital service during Operation Desert Shield/Storm, Marylyn continued her pursuit of a career in healthcare, eventually starting her business in 2007. Marylyn also plays a critical role in the EBV organization. She was instrumental in recruiting for EBV’s Veteran - Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship program (V-WISE). In 2010, Marylyn launched the country's first Women Veterans Business Center (WVBC) to meet the unmet needs of female veterans and travels the U.S. raising awareness, and educating and empowering women veterans to consider entrepreneurship as a career.
Boris is a serial entrepreneur and a coach at heart. After serving in the U.S. Army for 30 years, he retired and founded T3Multisports, which focuses on coaching, mentoring and developing athletes at all levels from youth and junior to elite. T3Multisports includes a specialized youth training academy for young athletes interested in competing in triathlons. Taking his coaching to a new level, Boris is looking ahead to launching a new financial coaching business.
After surviving a gunshot wound to the head in Iraq, Justin launched his first business,
Iraq and Back, which designed and sold patriotic gear for service members and their families,
and military units around the world. He also co-founded the Veteran Success Resource Group in 2015,
a nonprofit that provides resources for veterans and their families.
Today, Justin is an Inspirational Speaker and speaks with corporate audiences about leadership, overcoming adversity and the upside of change. He recently completed his first book, “My Battlefield, Your Office”, a guide for leading a team.
